The theories of an Ecovillage are numerous and can become a confusing topic. This particular Ecovillage is defined as a community striving for self sustainability through recycling and living in an environmentally friendly way of life. The restriction of size on the village and the zone structure limits pollution and encourages free trade with other villages. The village has a large center building containing shops, community center, sanitation, medical, light industrial and recycling. This allows for the village to produce export goods for other villages that do not specialize in the same products. Villagers learn about feeding themselves; living in peace; and learning the free trade system.
This is to help eliminate the grief in the world; combat global warming at the basic level; and encourage harmony with others outside their belief system.
