Thurston County Amateur BBQ Cookoff
and Music Competition

A FAB World is continuing its tradition of envisioning globally and engaging locally by sponsoring the Thurston County Amateur BBQ cookoff and Music Competition.
For the last two years we sponsored and brought professional BBQ competition to the South Sound area. This year it is the amateurs turn to shine. If you want to showcase your BBQ, grilling and other backyard cooking skills, join us as a competitor.

Each event will feature free music and entertainment from some of the South Sound's best musicians.

Come and observe some of the best backyard chefs in the area compete. There will be vendors, non-profits and community organizations on hand.

Historic Columbus Park, on the shores of Black Lake, will be the site for our first event. The event starts at xx and judging begins at xx.
The music competition starts at xx and concludes at xx.

Columbus Park is located at 5700 Black Lake Blvd, Olympia, WA.


Come out and watch these local pitmasters in action. You can meet many of the chefs - and you might even get a few tips to spice up your next back yard BBQ.

We return to historic Columbus Park for heat 3. This is your last chance to qualify for the first Semi-Finals and compete in the Championship Round.
Please join us and show off your backyard grilling skills.

Win one of your categories in the first three heats and you qualify for the Semi-Finals.
This is the first chance to qualify for the Championship event and compete for the title of "Best Amateur grillmaster in Thriston County."

This is round 5, and the first chance to qualify for the second Semi-Finals,
Join us at Charlie's Bar and Grill and the popular Olympia Pub Crawl. the first round of the second series.
Set your grill up in Charlie's famous Beer Garden or in the parking lot. This is a great chance to showcase tour grilling skills to the people of Olympia.
